Scheduler Roles & Permissions

Each user is assigned a role which determines what they can see and do in the HCCRC Scheduling System. The guide includes a matrix of roles and access for various functions and areas in the HCCRC Scheduling System, mapped out by module.

General View

View appointments, minimal permissions
Users assigned to this role might include: Nurses, some lab techs, some CRC staff

Study Staff

View appointments/subjects for only their studies, schedule appointments for their studies, build templates (this functionality is site specific)
Users assigned to this role might include: Study Coordinators, PI’s, Co-I’s

Front Desk

View all appointments/subjects, schedule, edit visit resources, build templates
Users assigned to this role might include: Front Desk Coordinators, CRC Staff, Nurses

Resource Manager

View all appointments/subjects, schedule, overbook, edit visit resources, build templates, adjust resource default availabilities, run reports, approve templates
Users assigned to this role might include: Nurse Director, Nutrition Director)

Scheduler

View all appointments/subjects, schedule, overbook, edit visit resources, build templates, run reports
Users assigned to this role might include: Unit Coordinators, Schedulers

Super Admin

View all appointments/subjects, schedule, overbook, edit visit resources, build templates, adjust resource default availabilities, run reports, create custom reports, approve templates
Users assigned to this role might include: Administrative Directors, Ops Directors, Program Managers
